On occasions Class 45/1 locos appeared on Leeds Nottingham services such as here on 29th March 1988 where we see 45104 climbing through Wrenthorpe Wakefield with the 13.25 from Nottingham. Electrification work had recently been completed and at this time was waiting to be energised and tested.
