Intercity Class 47 No. 47803 opens up recovering from a PWay slack south of Fenny Compton on 12.18 Manchester Piccadilly -Paddington on 6th May 1991. The trackbed on the left carried the former Stratford on Avon and Midland Joint line a short portion of which still exits between Fenny Compton and MOD Kineton.
