New from Crewe Works on 28th October 1961 No.D123 was allocated to Derby. The locomotive worked until 7th May 1987, and was withdrawn from Nottingham Division (D16) before being taken into preservation by The Humberside Locomotive Preservation Group. Now located at The Great Central Railway and pictured here at Loughborough on 14th July 2011.
