BR Standard 4 No. 80104, still needing some more work on the cylinders, sits outside the Goods shed at Swanage on December 30th 2016. Already re-painted it still needs to have the numbers applied although the smokebox number already reads No. 80146. 2017 marks the 50th Anniversary of the end of Steam on the Southern Region and on 18th June 1967 80146 hauled the final steam hauled train on the Swanage branch. Southern Locomotives have agreed to that it will spend all of 2017 as 80146.
