SR U Class No. 31806 enters Harmans Cross station, while some of its train has still to crest the climb from Herston Halt on 24th December 2016. It was operating the 12:05 Santa Special from Swanage. Behind the loco is the Devon Belle Observation Car No. 14 which was used for the Swanage Railway's Christmas Belle service on selected days.
