On the 24th May 1986, an SRPS Railtour from Falkirk enters York hauled by Class 27's Nos. 27046 & 27001. This was believed to be the first time for over 20 years that a member of this class had been seen in the City. On the right an HST Power Car still displays a sticker to acknowledge one year of 'The Yorkshire Pullman' although on this occasion working the 09:00 King's Cross to Edinburgh.
