Class 31 No. 31413 passes the signal box at Mistley with the 05.30 Wolverhampton- Harwich Parkeston Quay on 2nd 7th June 1984. This scene has completely changed following electrification and the closure and removal of the box. Named Severn Valley Railway from 1988 to 1993, the loco was withdrawn and cut up in 1997.
