In a scene that could be the from the final years of the S&D, SR Bullied Battle of Britain Pacific No. 34070 "Manston" departs Swanage on October 10th 2016 with the 15:20 service to Norden. On the adjacent road are S&DJR Class 7F No. 53809, and resident BR Standard Class 4 No. 80104. Whilst the 7F will feature in the upcoming gala the BR Class 4 has been withdrawn due to insufficient time to complete repairs following its recent return from Tysley.
