On the 9th October 2016 the first ever visit of a Class 73 through Sandal & Agbrigg saw GBRF 73963 Janice head a Derby RTC to Derby RTC test train en route to Wakefield Westgate & Kirkgate before reversal to Brightside via Barnsley and then along the Penistone Line to Huddersfield. 73962 is on the rear.
