One of the last steam locomotives to be withdrawn from British Railways was Stanier Black Five 4-6-0 No. 45110, seen here at The Engine Shed Museuem, Highley on 1st September 2016. The locomotive was built at The Vulcan Foundry (Works No. 4653) in June 1935 and withdrawn from Lostock Hall Depot (10D) in July 1968.
