All out effort at Bromsgrove as Class 31's Nos. 31423 & 31435 restart the 08:40 Paignton-Manchester Piccadilly at the foot of Lickey Incine after taking on banking assistance in the rear from Class 37's Nos. 37274 & 37013 on the 23rd September 1989. Note the WCML Mk.3 stock which was used during the 1989 Summer Season for a trip to the West Country a sharp contrast to today with a 4 car Voyager!
