Ex-GWR Class 96XX 0-6-0PT No. 9600 is pictured next to the turntable at Tyseley on 26th June 2016 taking a break after use on the shuttle runs during the Open Weekend. The locomotive entered service on 28th February 1945 from Swindon Works and was taken into preservation following withdrawal from Newport Ebbw Junction shed (86A) on 30th September 1965.
