About 15 minutes down the road from Amsterdam central station is this line of 18 laid up NS Class 1700 1990-4 built Gec /Alstohom elctric locos headed by No. 1705.They were originally buit for passenger work and because of the braking system cannot be used on freight work.In the docks is another third of the class also laid up.0n 16th June 2016.
