On Crewe North Depot on 31st May 1964, LMS Stanier Pacific No. 46251 "City of Nottingham" stands adjacent to BR Standard Pacific No. 70012 "John of Gaunt" and LMS Stanier 4-6-0 No. 45584 "North West Frontier". No. 46251 was withdrawn on 30th September 1964 at cut up at the end of that year.
