In Strathclyde Passenger Transport carmine and cream livery Class 334 No. 334008 is seen leaving Glasgow Central Station with a service for the Ayrshire Coast on 15th October 2002. 40 Class 334 units were built by Alstrom entering service on services South of the Clyde in 2001 which enabled the last of the Class 303 'Blue Trains' to be withdrawn. Later replaced by Class 380 units on these services the Class 334's are now to be found on North Clyde services working as far East as Edinburgh.
