Recently repainted in EWS Red and Yellow livery Class 08 No. 08886 is stabled in Immingham Reception Sidings on 27th August 2003. Built at BR Horwich Works as No. D4116 she entered service in January 1962 allocated to Cricklewood Shed London, later serving from both Gateshead and Heaton Depots on Tyneside before arriving at Immingham. One of a small number of Class 08's to be modified for Remote Control Operation No. 08886 is currently stored at Crewe International Electric Depot.
