West Coast Railways Class 57/6 No. 57601 and Class 57/3 No. 57316 top and tail nine Statesman Rail carriages at Wichnor Junction, Staffordshire on 1st April 2016 while working as the 13:40 Burton-on-Trent Wetmore Sidings to Action Lane Reception Sidings, in readiness to work an excursion from London to Fort William the following day. The carriages had been undergoing maintenance at Nemesis Rail, Burton-on-Trent for the past three months.
