Class 50s No. 50040 "Centurion" and No. 50039 "Implacable" are seen at Paddington Station on 5th July 1988. No. 50040, previously named "Leviathan", was withdrawn in August 1990 but not scrapped until July 2008, and No. 50039 was withdrawn in June 1989 and scrapped in July 1991.
