Network Rail's Class 97/3 No. 97301 leads the 1210 Derby RTC to Old Oak Common near to Clay Mills, Burton-on-Trent on 10th March 2016. The stock formation was train comprised of Network Rail carriages No. 72612 No. 977986 No. 977985 and No. 999602 with DBSO No. 9708 at the rear. The route due to be taken was via Burton-on-Trent, Lichfield Trent Valley (reverse) then West Coast main line to Wembley, West Ealing, Kensal Green and onto Old Oak Common HSTD.
