GBRf Class 66/7 No. 66768 waits to leave Harwich Parkeston Quay sidings with a load of ballast removed from the GEML on the continuing overnight operation. The aggregate siding used has new ballast on one side and removed ballast on the other. The used pile now approaches 30 in height and runs for over the length the ballast train shown and will take many train loads to move.
