Having already upgraded its ticket office, Leyland station on the WCML is having a £4.5m makeover with new shelters and improved access via lifts or a footbridge to the car parks. Work is due for completion by the summer 2016. Here, a Virgin Pendolino No. Class 390 with a Preston to London Euston service passes under the new structures on 12th February 2016.
