In one of the most bleakest of places, though a favourite for rail fans, Alp Grum stands high on the Bernina Pass in the Swiss Alps. It sees a regular service of trains from St Moritz in Swithzerland, to Tirano in Italy. The station and buffet are only accessible by rail in Winter, and a godsend for sheltering between trains! On 7th February 2016, Allegra unit Class ABe 8/12 No. 3508 clears the way to Poschiavo with the attachable snowplough, following an ongoing snowfall.
