Class 73/9 No. 73952 led by classmate No. 73951 wait for a signal change at North Stafford Junction, Derbyshire on Wednesday 27th January 2016. The duo will cross over onto the North Staffs route once the section has been cleared by the passage of northbound Cross Country service formed of a Class 221 Super Voyager. The Class 73/9s were undertaking the second of two return test trips between Derby and Crewe on this day.
