Saturday 7th June 1986 finds Railfreight grey with red solebar-liveried Class 58 No. 58023 stabled for the weekend on Shirebrook MPD, Derbyshire. Built at BREL Doncaster and entering BR service in December 1984 No. 58023 would see less than 15 years use before being stored unserviceable at her home depot, Toton TMD, in July 1999. 16 years on No. 58023 can still be found, in Mainline blue livery, stored in the Toton Compound although she is one of five Class 58's to have been recently offered for sale by DB Schenker.
