The Railway Preservation Society of Ireland operated two 'Halloween' steam excursions from Dublin Pearse to Greystones in Co Wicklow, albeit a day late on 1st November 2015 the first of these was operated by 1922 built ex GSR Mogul mixed traffic locomotive 461, seen here at Sydney Parade 2.5 miles south of Pearse Station. This is the former DSER line, where 461 and her sister 462 worked the nightly goods trains to Wexford, with the occasional passenger working where high speed was not required.
