Class 50 No. 50031 Hood at Birmingham New Street with 09:40 Poole - Newcastle on 12th July 1984.The 50 was replaced by Class 45/1 No. 45135.The 50 was built at the Vulcan Foundry and new as D431 to D05 Stoke on Trent Division on 1st July 1968 and was withdrawn on 5th August 1991.Sold to the Class 50 Fund in September 1991 and is currently on the Severn Valley Railway.
