On the 25th October 2015 at the Mountsorrel Railway and Station opening weekend NER Class H 0-4-0T No. 1310, visiting from the Middleton Railway, arrives at Mountsorrel Halt with a shuttle service taking passengers along the line. Diminutive Peckett 0-4-0ST No. 2012 'Teddy', visiting from the Chasewater Railway, was at the rear of the train. No. 1310 had a special headboard 'The Mountsorrel Quarryman'.
