Class 47/0 No. 47287 on Ipswich on 6th July 2002. The locomotive was accepted into traffic as No. D1989 on 12th February 1966 at Gateshead (52A). It was withdrawn on 12th September 2002 to provide spares for classmates Nos. 47358 and 47370 which were under overhaul, with No. 47287 finally being cut up at Booth-Roe Rotherham on 13th January 2005 apart from the two cabs.
