Bescot TMD allocated Class 31/1 No. 31134 is stabled in Platform 8 at Crewe Station on 6th January 1992. Built by Brush Traction, Loughborough she entered service during September 1959 as Type 2 No. D5552 and unlike the majority of her classmates was never fitted with a standard BR headcode panel. Seen here in her final Departmental 'Dutch' grey and yellow colours she would be withdrawn just 4 years later in March 1996. Stored for several years at Wigan Springs Branch CRDC she was eventually scrapped there during July 1999.
