A new vantage point is available at the Midland Railway-Butterley with the installation of a footbridge at the West end of the Station. On the 12th July 2015 LMS Stanier Pacific No. 46233 "Duchess of Sutherland" worked services on the MR-B as part of the 1960s themed weekend. Class 45/1 No. 45108 (unseen) was at the other end of this working.
