Northern Class 158 No. 158851 departs from a much improved Wakefield Kirkgate with a service for Sheffield/Nottingham on 30th June 2015. Wakefield Kirkgate is slowly shrugging of its Ugly Duckling name as money is being spent to bring this station to more acceptable state of repair including a new booking office
