SR N Class Mogul No. 31874 awaits the cutters torch at Barry Scrapyard on 13th July 1968. Fortunately, this loco being the sole survivor of the class, was saved for preservation initially at the Mid-Hants Railway. Currently located at the Swanage Railway, the loco is currently awaiting overhaul.
