For 12 successive weekends during the Summer of 1984 ex LNWR Coal Tank No. 1054 ran a series of charters between Manchester Victoria and Miles Platting in connection with the Anniversary of Wilson's brewery. On one such unrecorded date, No. 1054 steams through the centre roads at Manchester Victoria. Summer 1984
