Class 47/7 No. 47783 Saint Peter at Ipswich 22nd December 2001 on Thunderbird duty. New as No. D1640 to 86A Cardiff Canton on 16th December 1964 and under TOPS became No. 47056 on 3rd February 1974 before renumbering to No. 47654 on 20th August 1986. The duff was renumbered again, following the fitment of long-range fuel tanks, to No. 47809 on 6th July 1989 before conversion to 47783 on 27th April 1994. It was stored at Crewe on 1st June 2002 and withdrawn in April 2007 and cut up in October that year at Ron Hull, Rotherham.
