SNCF Class BB 22200 No. 22239 'Lons Le Saunier' is seen leaving Paris Gare-du-Nord on Sunday 19th February 1995. A total of 205 dual voltage locos of this class were built by Alstrom between 1976 and 1986 able to operate on both 1,500 DC and 25 KV systems. In 1994 and 1995 9 examples of this class could be seen in Kent operating freight services through the Channel Tunnel from France prior to the introduction of the UK Class 92's.
