A 500mm telephoto lens really foreshortens the perspective and shows the gentle undulations in the trackbed at the quiet rural outpost of Manea, in the heart of the Cambridgeshire Fens, still replete with its manual signalbox and semaphore signalling. Here, CrossCountry Trains Class 170 No. 170109 heads south with the 07:22 departure from Birmingham New Street to Stansted Airport on 9th February 2015.
