A busy scene at Kandersteg on the BLS on 3rd March 1994 as Class Re4/4 No. 177 stands on the left and Class Ae8/8 No. 271 sets out on the last stage of the journey through the Lotschberg Tunnel to Brig on the overnight 20:53 Oostende-Brig. Between the locos in the background is part of the stock of the Car Shuttle which provides a very frequent service through the Lotschberg Tunnel between Kandersteg and Goppenstein.
