A variation of the standard SBB Class Ee3/3 Shunter is No. 16554 one of only 10 examples which are unique in being capable of operating on 4th electrical systems, namely 1500vDC, 3000vDC, 15KV 16 2/3 c/s AC and 25KV 50 c/s AC and find use at Geneva and Chiasso where the SNCF and FS respectively join with the SBB. No. 16554 acts as station pilot at Geneva Cornavin on 2nd March 1994
