Network Rail Class 97/3 No. 97302 was called upon to assist this Network Rail test train that had started the previous evening at Bristol High Level Siding destined for Derby RTC via Shrewsbury. However the locomotive in charge at the time Class 31/1 No. 31233 failed and the complete train consisting of DBSO 9708, 62384, 977985 and 977986 was despatched later that morning to Derby. The train is pictured just after passing Clay Mills Junction, Burton-on-Trent on Saturday 10th January 2015, with only a few miles to go to its ultimate destination.
