Class 43 Power Car No. 43078 passes through Wellingborough on 4th September 1987 with the 15:20 St Pancras - Sheffield HST service. If it were not for the modern train in this picture, one would assume that this was a steam-age view of Wellingborough Station, looking from the bridge immediately north.
