Pilot engine Class 5 No. 44871 appears to be resting as the train engine, classmate No. 45407 Lancashire Fusilier, does all of the work accelerating 1Z49 out of Ely towards Prickwillow on 6th December 2014 while en-route from Southend to Norwich.
