The other three are Class 40's No. 40163 and No. 40075 with Class 45 No. 45045, ex No. D64 'Coldstream Guardsman' bringing up the rear. All had been withdrawn for several years, No. 40132 from Springs Branch Wigan in March 1982, No. 40163 from Longsight in June 1982 No. 40075 from Gateshead in December 1981 and No. 45045 from Toton in March 1983. Time was running out for all 4 as they were towed the short distance to Vic Berry's yard in Leicester for disposal shortly after this image was taken. All 3 Class 40's being scrapped there during January 1987 while the Class 45 had been broken up in October 1986.
