BR Class 56 No. 56042 heads through Water Orton with a southbound merry-go-round train on 26th January 1983. New from Doncaster Works in May 1979, the loco only saw twelve years of service being withdrawn in September 1991 and was cut up by Birds at Toton Depot in April 1994.
