LMS Class 4MT 2-6-4T No. 42247 is seen at Rock Ferry in July 1964. The train is made up of GWR Hawksworth coaches and is probably the through portion of a Paddington-Birkenhead train. The next stop is the terminus at Birkenhead Woodside.
