The last day of 1965 sees SR rebuilt WC No. 34021 'Dartmoor', minus nameplates, heading the 08:35 Waterloo-Weymouth train at Brockenhurst. This train consisted of 8 coaches and 2 vans. Note that the third rail has still to be laid on the down side.
