LB&SCR A1X Class Terriers 0-6-0T No. 32646 and 32650 are seen on 9th May 1964 stored at Eastleigh Depot after the closure of the Hayling island branch the previous November. Fifty years on No. 32646 can be seen running on the Isle of Wightas F8 "Freshwater", and No. 32650 is being restored at the Spa Valley Railway.
