Class 76 No. 76008 is seen inside Reddish MPD Manchester on Sunday 19th March 1978. The dual braked and multiple working equipped loco built at nearby Gorton Works Manchester in March 1951 appears to have been recently repainted at the depot. Withdrawn in July 1981 upon the closure of the Woodhead Route from Manchester to Sheffield and Wath she was scrapped by CF Booths of Rotherham during June 1983.
