A sunny summers afternoon in August 1963 sees BR Standard Class 4 Tank No. 80017 waiting to leave Reading Southern Terminus with a train for Tonbridge. The shed code 75F is Tunbridge Wells West. Reading Southern Station closed in 1965, all services being transferred to Reading General.
