New Class 73/9 No. 73961 in GBRF livery, constructed at Brush Loughborough, has been taken to the nearby Great Central Railway for testing. On the 2nd October 2014 No. 73961 is seen leaving Loughborough Central heading to Quorn towing the GCR Class 31 No. D5830 as a test load. This testing was conducted inbetween services on the GCR.
