The last chance to travel behind Class 31 No. 31108 at the Nene Valley Railway before it returns to the Midland Railway - Butterley was on 28th September 2014 at the NVR Diesel Gala, seen here leaving Wansford with the 12:02 departure to Peterborough. No. 31108 had been on long term loan at the NVR and has been replaced by Classmate No. 31271 also from Butterley.
